Change Machine Type:This option is for when you already have an ecu for one machine and you need it made for another of the same ECU type. You can look at ECU model number on the one you have to determine which units your ECU is compatible with. Either ME17.9.74-4014125 or M17.8.7-4012838 for the older units.

Cloning Service: Select this when you are sending two ecus in to have the VIN numbers match. This Will also alow tuners to work across multiple compatible units.

ECU Identification: How to tell which ECU you need.

ME17.9.74 - This is the first picture and the most common ECU, it has pins in both plugs. Generally they are 2014 and Newer with a few exceptions.

M17.8.7 - Is the second picture with pins in one plug, it is the older style mostly on rangers and 900xp rzrs etc.

*Part Number matching: when Polaris tunes these ecus they put a sticker over top of the actual part sticker, so if in question you can remove the top sticker to see the ecu model.
